Dasylirion longissimum

Also called the Mexican Grass Tree, original East-central Mexico.
This Grass tree is a spectacular plant when it is fully grown, it has a beautiful, black-brown mottled trunk and a crown with narrow leaves.

The flexible sheets have a width of 0.5 cm, 120 cm long and stand around in rings around the trunk. They like full sun and light shade.

This Mexican grass tree is an excellent container plant and cold resistant to -6°C, under the condition that the drainage is very permeable.
