Phoenix canariensis

Phoenix canariensis is native to the Canary Islands, where it grows in wet places as well as arid places Phoenix canariensis is an ideal palm to keep in a pot on your patio. Tolerates heat well and is an easy plant that will do well on any patio or balcony. Kept in pot an additional gift of water in extreme heat is welcome, growth will benefit from this. In winter only little water, slightly moist not wet (applies to every palm tree in the winter). Only winterhardy till -5/-6ºC, so better take it inside during wintertime.
