Grevillea johnsonii, total 70-80 cm

Grevillea johnsonii or Australian silver oak.
The leaf is somewhat reminiscent of a heather with its green needle-shaped leaves and it is an evergreen shrub.
You have flowers all summer from the end of May to the beginning of October. The bright red flowers contrast beautifully with the fresh green elongated leaves.

This plant can be planted in the open ground, but it should not be a soaking wet place in the winter. In addition, some protection should be provided in case of more than moderate frost. Overwintering in a frost-free tub is sufficient. It is better to keep this beautiful plant in a tub.

You can prune the Grevillea johnsonii in the autumn if it becomes too large, just below the pruning wound it will then branch out beautifully.
