Trachycarpus fortunei

In Europe the Trachycarpus fortunei belongs to the most planted garden palms.
It is an attractive fan palm native to China and grows to about 6 m, with a solitary trunk covered with matted fiber.
It is the best winterhardy palm for our climate.
Frost resistant till: -15°C.

There are 3 varieties of the Trachycarpus fortunei: Chusan, Tesan and Winsan.
The plants offered here are of the variety Chusan, the most regular one.
