Origin: Guadalupe Island, Mexico.
Also called Guadalupe Palm.
Large fan palm with a stocky, solitary trunk.
Height till 10 m, green leafs with a length till 1,5 m.
Largest, fleshiest fruit of the genus, ca. 25–27 mm in diameter. The fruits are edible.
Winterhardy: approx. -8°C
